Great Aquatic Center in Rush City!!

pool

One of Rush City’s “gems” is our Aquatic Center. The Rush City Aquatic/Recreation center is located at 305 South Eliot Avenue in downtown Rush City. It has a full size gym with locker space and an outdoor aquatic facility with a 165 ft. slide, diving pool, lap pool, zero entry play area, and a 26 ft. drop slide, open swimming every day and water aerobics. Also included is a fully stocked concessions area for ice cream treats, snacks, pop, water, candy, nachos and much more. Open daily from 12:30 pm until 6:30 pm. They charge a small admittance fee. Check Out their website –

So why go to a crowded noisy indoor water park when you can visit this gem? Stay at the Maple Knoll Inn and enjoy everything that Rush City and the surrounding area has to offer!

Great aquatic center, lakes, fishing, rivers, golfing, bowling, cycling, kayaking, our wonderful bakery, and Friday concerts in the park concerts (Pine City). In July we host the Chisago county fair, which features rides, concerts, a demo derby, a parade and so much more! Rush City, and our surrounding areas, have so much to offer!

There is always something going on close to the Inn!

Motorcycles and Rush City Go Together!

Rush City is located on Old Highway 61. Before I35 was built, 61 was the main artery between New Orleans and Thunder bay, Canada. Currently, each weekend, hundreds of motorcycles cruise highway 61 past the Inn.

If you cycle, the Inn is a great place to use as your “home-base”. Cruise to Rush City, enjoy a great nights stay, relax on our deck or on our front porch, get up refreshed and enjoy the rest of your scenic ride along Old Highway 61.

The really cool thing about Rush City is we are the home to one of the nations largest cycle, snowmobile and ATV after-market parts and accessories suppliers. Dennis Kirk has been the leader in power sports aftermarket parts and accessories since 1969, with over 150,000 unique items in stock. Dennis Kirk is located just a few short blocks from the Inn.

Stay at the Inn and wander down to Dennis Kirk’s showroom. You can review the latest catalog and save shipping by picking up that part or accessory. Check out Dennis Kirk on line at – https://www.denniskirk.com/.

There is so much going on around the Inn.

Wonderful Place for Business Travelers!

travel

Hotels often advertise that they business traveler “friendly,” when in fact they really are not. Hotels often offer small cramped rooms with limited space for the business traveler to spread out and do their work. Who can forget the nights of kids running up and down the halls making quite a racket.

The Maple Knoll Inn is a great place for business travelers. Our weekends are usually busy, but you can usually “snag” on weekdays. We get a fair number of business travelers staying at the Inn. They appreciate the spacious common areas’ the Inn has to offer. Why stay cooped up in a small room at a hotel when you can spread out in our spacious living room, dining room, sun room, deck or screen porch. Take advantage of our free WiFi while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea in our quiet stress free environment. Do your work in the comfort of the Inn. Oh and no noisy kids running up and down the halls!

Travel is stressful enough! Where you stay the night should be a quiet relaxing haven.

In the area for business, how about staying with us?
