Share Your Story With Us!

We always love hearing from our guests. Some of them choose to post something about their stay on line – Trip Advisory or Face Book – and some take advantage of the guest book we leave in the room. Here are just a few recent comments:

Thanks for sharing your early 20th century and lovely home. What a gem for a perfect B & B. – Judy

Thank you for the wonderful peaceful stay. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the surroundings. – Mary and Joe

Thank you for a lovely stay! We love seeing you and the accommodations and breakfast was superb! – Bob & Bylinda

Our stay here was great. It was so warm and inviting. Thank you for helping us renew our vows it meant a lot to us on our journey forward. Your home and hospitality were wonderful. Food was great. Hope to return soon. Rich and Deb

It was wonderful to stay in my old bedroom again! Even though the furniture was not the same, it really did feel like home. Forty years is a long time to be away. But you have been so careful to keep the time period the same. – Lee

What an absolutely peaceful weekend! You made Dave’s 59th birthday so special. Thank you Ruth for journeying off on an antique adventure with me, a profitable one at that. We are thrilled to have found a hidden treasure in your B&B and even more thrilled to have found new friends. – David and Kelly.

It is away’s so nice to talk with our guests. We have had the opportunity to meet people from around the world and from all over the US. Each person has their own story to tell and we so enjoy hearing them.

Fall Colors Coming, Soon!

I know, I know, most of you are living in denial, but fall is just around the corner.

The Maple Knoll Inn is officially located in the Late September to early October leaf color zone, according to Explore Minnesota. With Labor Day this coming weekend and school starting on September 2 (some schools are back in session already) now would is the best time to plan your fall leaf color viewing get away!

The Inn’s three acres are covered with maple, ash, birch, basswood and oak trees. The Inn is located just a few miles from the beautiful St. Croix River Valley, one of my favorite fall color viewing areas. Book a room with us and explore everything the area has to offer! Don’t forget the great events that are going on near the Inn. September 6 visit the Hinckley Rib Fest. September 20-21 visit the Rock Creek Corn Maze. September 20 visit the Grantoberfest in nearby Grantsburg Wisc. Enjoy a relaxing evening at one of our local wineries. Enjoy tasting a bit of the grape while soaking in the fall colors. Take a wonderful cruise on the St. Croix River out of Taylors Falls. You get a great view of the rock formations, river, and fall colors.

Pick your weekend and book with us, today. Don’t miss enjoying the wonderful fall colors Minnesota has to offer. There is always something going on close to the Inn.
